2024/2025 Mission Statement
Create a "One Team, One Family" culture. This involves fostering strong relationships and mutual respect among team members, ensuring everyone feels valued and included. Open communication, shared values, and common goals are essential to promoting honesty and alignment within the team. Building trust and providing a safe environment are priorities, allowing players to express themselves freely. Positive reinforcement is used to celebrate successes and motivate team members, while accountability and constructive feedback encourage personal growth. Leadership by example and mentorship are emphasized, with team spirit and unity reinforced through traditions and a unified front. Conflicts are addressed respectfully and resolved promptly. Positive parental involvement is encouraged, with clear boundaries maintained. Finally, a strong commitment to each other, marked by dedication and dependability, supports the entire culture.
From Coach Steffi:
Last season, some of us noticed a crucial aspect missing from our team culture: accountability for our actions.
This season, we’ll focus on building a stronger culture both on and off the field. This doesn’t mean you have to be best friends outside of practice, but when we step onto the field, all outside noise, influences, and personal grudges must be left behind. If we can make this change during the 2024-2025 season, it will set our program up for success, not just this year but for years to come.

The Role of Parents in Athletics
Players and Parents! I highly encourage you to read this before the spring season starts.
My husband and I both coach, and we have referenced this throughout our coaching carriers. I've read it several times and noticed some "red flags" that remind me of my own experiences with my parents in youth/high school sports.
