Fall Ball & Off Season
Fall Ball is here! While not mandatory, we strongly encourage all HSE Girls Lacrosse players to join us this season. It's a great opportunity to sharpen your skills, build team chemistry, and have some fun on the field. For our freshmen and new players, this is the perfect chance to meet the team and start forming those important bonds. Let's make this Fall Ball season a great one!

Mondays/Wednesdays - 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM (Grass Fields)
October 22 - December 19:
Tuesday/Thursday - 5:30-7:00 PM (Lifting and Aux Gym)
January 13 - February 6:
Mondays @ Finch - 4:00-5:30 PM
Tuesday/Thursdays - 5:30-7:00 PM (Lifting and Aux Gym)

Where
All Fall Ball actives will be held on the HSE Campus.
We will utilize the grass field highlighted in the yellow box. There are parking spots along the grass area as well as paved parking on the same road.
Jerseys
Please be sure to pack your HSE reversible jersey. If you do not have an HSE reversible jersey at this time, please bring your club jersey to wear.

Is Fall Ball Season Mandatory?
No, Fall Ball is not mandatory. However, we strongly encourage all players to participate. It’s a great opportunity to develop your skills, build team chemistry, and prepare for the upcoming season. Plus, it’s a fun way to stay active and connected with your teammates during the off-season. Freshmen and new players are especially encouraged to join, as it's a fantastic way to meet the team and get a head start before the official season begins.
Is it ok if I miss a Fall Ball Practice?
Yes, it’s okay if you miss a Fall Ball session or practice. We understand that players may have other commitments during the off-season. Fall Ball is designed to be a flexible, low-pressure opportunity for skill development and team bonding. While we encourage regular participation to get the most out of the experience, we also want you to balance your other activities. Just come when you can, and we’ll be glad to see you on the field!
What if the weather gets to cold during the season?
If the weather becomes too cold during October, we will make adjustments to ensure the safety and comfort of our players. This might include modifying practice times, moving indoors if a facility is available, or even rescheduling activities. We’ll keep a close eye on the forecast and communicate any changes as early as possible. Your well-being is our priority, and we’ll make sure to provide a positive experience regardless of the weather conditions.
